Economic Development
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
St. Cloud is the third-largest metropolitan area in the state and one of the fastest-growing, featuring the best in education, health care, commercial, cultural and recreational offerings – not to mention expanding economic development that continues to raise the quality of life for residents and businesses alike.
WELCOMING VISITORS
- The St. Cloud Area Chamber’s tourism arm, Visit St. Cloud, brings thousands of visitors to Central Minnesota each year. The Chamber dedicates five staff members to market the St. Cloud area as a premier visitor destination and to encourage community improvements that benefit residents and increase the economic impact of visitors.
AGRI-BUSINESS
- Recognizing the critical role agriculture plays in the region’s economy, the Chamber organizes the annual Central Minnesota Farm Show in February. Here you’ll find everything from feed and seed dealers to agri-technology developers. As the largest indoor farm show in the Upper Midwest, it attracts as many as 350 vendors and 3,000 attendees annually.
GROW MINNESOTA!
- The St. Cloud Area Chamber participates in the Minnesota Chamber’s Grow Minnesota! economic development program. Making more than 50 personal calls on Central Minnesota businesses each year, we receive a first-hand look at the local economy and gather information that helps drive local and state public policy.
