A Premier Advocacy Experience with the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce

Each spring, Chamber members have the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. for one of the most impactful and rewarding experiences of the year. This annual Fly-In remains a cornerstone of our advocacy efforts and a powerful way for local business leaders to make their voices heard at the national level.

The 2026 trip is April 20th through 23rd, and registration is now open!

Why This Trip Matters

The Washington, D.C. Fly-In gives members direct access to Minnesota’s congressional delegation, key federal agency leaders, and policy experts at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Together, we advocate for business priorities that affect Central Minnesota and gain firsthand insight into federal policies shaping our economy.

This isn’t just a trip, it’s a seat at the table.

Participants engage in meaningful conversations about workforce challenges, tax policy, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, small business regulations, and other issues impacting our region. By sharing real stories from local businesses, attendees help federal leaders better understand the practical effects of national decisions.

What to Expect

The Fly-In typically includes:

  • Policy briefings from national experts
  • A visit to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
  • Networking opportunities with fellow Chamber members
  • Time to explore and connect in our nation’s capital

Whether you’re a small business owner, nonprofit leader, executive, or emerging professional, this experience offers valuable insight and influence.

Who Should Participate?

This opportunity is ideal for:

  • Business owners and executives who want to shape policy discussions
  • Leaders navigating federal regulations or workforce challenges
